I am really happy to be uploading this song. I’ve been wanting to work with Nitin for a very long time and this is the first of hopefully many projects with him. He’s a really gifted composer and lyricist. There is something unique about his work that it touches you somewhere deep every single time. Yeh Lamha Jal Jayega and Kya Haseen Ithefaq are probably my two of my favorite original compositions on muziboo, but now its been replaced by THIS ONE! Its been such an amazing experience working on this project with Nitin and I want to thank him and Sajeev for this opportunity.

“Like I mentioned when I uploaded the preview for this song, I have collaborated with Sajeev Sarathie for the lyrics for this song and have got the opportunity to finally work with George Kuruvilla on a solo.

I conceptualized this song after reading about couples who separate or get divorced and then get back together. I think it so happens that they realize that everybody has shortcomings and that they are indeed meant to be together, or that there is a lot of history between them that they can’t just leave behind. The song tries to explore some of the mixed emotions people might experience while getting back together. I wrote some portions of the song and then got stuck for ideas, which is when I approached Sajeevji. He liked the concept immensely and came back with his own thoughts and ideas in the form of lyrics, which we then merged with my lyrics and after a lot of editing and re-editing, the final lyrics were ready. I have never collaborated with anyone on lyrics, and a big thank you to Sajeevji for making it so easy.

George Kuruvilla needs no introduction. He is a fabulous singer with vast knowledge of various genres and an expressive voice with great range. We have been waiting to work together since 2008, and for me it was a fantastic experience to work with him. Immensely enjoyed the process, and he breathed life into this song in a way that only he could have."
