Dream Theater is probably my favorite rock group of all time. Theres not a single day during my college life that didnt include dream theater. I’ve been wanting to cover a song from them for a very long time, but was unable to mainly due to the complexity of their work.
Kaushik Srenevasan, a fellow muzibian based out of Seattle asked if I wanted to cover Wait for Sleep by Dream Theater and needless to say I was elated. He did such a brilliant job with the arrangement that it was such a pleasure singing with the track. You should all check out his work. Thank you Kaushik for the collaboration and the brilliant work!
This is definitely a special upload for me and I know I will cherish this for a long time! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song for the brilliant haunting meloddy, the simplicity of the arrangement and the touching lyrics.
Hope you all enjoy listening to this as much as Kaushik and I enjoyed working on it.
