No second thoughts on how great the attempt was, you both were awesome, but IMHO, i thought the energy levels were little less compare to the original, nice improvisations/harmonies in the middle, George i felt you could have sung this with a little more feel(happy)…. at some places you were very subdued in your rendition. Meera you have sung it really well, but i thought your start was not that great compare to your lift from Raath Mein, you were awesome from that moment. Great job guys, Keep up the good work (4/5 from me).

George , I love this song and also Tu muskara is my latest favourites ….often listen to it on my drive to work……this is a very melodius song ….I think you should have been a bit softer, in the voice throw. The throw took away some charm….Meera sounds really great ….on the whole I liked it ….but still for some reason this rendition ….didnt touch me like the original. Great effort though ….full marks from me for the collective effort !!

Hi George – I liked this overall. IMO this is a difficult song to render given the highs and the lows. Keeping that in mind I think both of you did fantastic job.

George – I think the start could have been better. 1:34 “Aaja…” sounded much better. But apart from that I think you did very well.

Harmonies were good. I like the way you add your own stuff to the originals….

Meera -You have a very good voice. You did a very good job. I felt couple of pronunciation issues but those were minor, not a distraction at all. Hope to hear many more from you.

I have a k-track which is different from the one you used. But it has the “wo-ho” start by the original singer….let me know if that works for you …i can send it to you. ( not sure if the tempo of the two tracks is the same)

George – you sounded really nice :)…thoda aur feel would have been better….also i think the word is ‘hawao’ and not ‘hawau’ but you are getting better with your hindi diction :) also IMHO ‘gungunate….saaz par’ was slightly off.
Meera – good to hear your first hindi number on muziboo :) Your have a very nice voice :) I thought you could have put in a bit more feel in it too :) Other than that very nicely sung by you . A few pronounciations to watch our for in your next hindi rendition “kabhi”, “aankhon”….

Overall very good job by both of you :) Dil mange more :)

No worries mate….the harmony effect in that case sounded a bit off to me ! Ofcourse its my humble opinion and you dont have to agree :) But thought i would point it out since just leaving a usual “a line or two seemed slighty off” comment does not serve any purpose for improvement for me or for anybody else !! Anyway it does not in anyway take away from your very good rendition :) Keep singing :)
How about a farmaish – Bheegey Honth Tere ? Your western style of singing will be apt for this song :) Whenever you have time :)

Start could have been much better. Sounded slightly pitchy at places. Seems u got a K track which starts abruptly. Is it?

Some diction issues, like “KHALAOON” sounded KHALAAU….but not major, with more hindi songs it will come good…….for me the feel was apt….i tend to disgree royally with everyone who commented about the FEEL of the rendition……The song could easily substitute the original in the movie……cos i could visualize the song while listening to this one……ur modulations were very good……ur western style singing suited the song well…….

Meera-Well, no words to describe ur voice….its perfect….and complimented George very nicely……u matched George in every aspect…….There are very few duet songs of George, where the female vocals make a strong impression….So ur voice and vocal prowess works for me….

Loved the harmonies too……

Kudos guys, looking forward to hear more duets from you guys……

both of you have done your best for this song. Although the movie did not make much impact, this song is definitely a lovely tune . Its a kind of mixed emotion which both of you have given it 100%. Needless to say about the mixing is fantastic as usual.

Outstanding performance by both George & Meera.

Every song evokes in you a feel & even slight changes/ nuances bring out new feelings. You guys were amazing; George your start sounded to me a bit like Adnan Sami, you have your unique individuality & I loved it thoroughly.

Meera was smooth & soothing throughout….I have become her big fan.

This song requires very strong adherence to correct pitching and both of you were up to it.
In my view, this song has to be sung with a very husky tone, but still with a punching power….

I would not compare the Original with the Cover, since you guys have grown now to a stature beyond compare with your stamp on it.

Full marks to both of you. Way to go….God Bless.

Well done; similar or better to ur “Kahi Na Lage”.
Trust me, its a miracle the way you control your vocal cords; it fits and suits any type of song independent of languages and pitches. a minor exception with your one Malayalam song which needed improvement.

From my past two months around here, you are the best in Muziboo in English and Hindi songs; even Elton_John, Bryan_Adams, George_Michael, Shaan and Sonu_Nigam will/must become a fan of you.

And your voice, anyone from any continent would love it forever. Pls give low priority for your networking/engineering/technology skills; from my intuition, your vocal cords evolved for better mission in life to make many music-lovers happy by your great voice.

Forget the so called playback singers of movies and albums around the world; its their profession, if not job. The talented singers like you are the ones represents the true people’s artists in my personal views.

3:26m to 3:32m, “aawaz ka dariya”, sounds like bit out of pitch; excuse for I’m not so familiar with the orignal record.

From 2:54m to 3:04m is so beautiful. May be some minor errors b/w 5:08m and 5:52m. overall you two done very well.

George and Meera, you both have performed amazingly great! :) Even the delay effects to vocals at places have done nice job to make it a wonderful piece of art. At high notes, you both were awesome mostly, though you may still want to expand the range of notes you can cover.
Overall, its definitely a must listen marvel on Muziboo. Cheers for the dedication you both have put in.

Good job guys. Mixing was very cool. Love the complete feel of this song. Meera- must say you have a very delicate and passionate feel to your voice. I felt at moments George was a little harsh executing the high notes (softer notes would have done wonders to the melody), nonetheless, good powerful rendition.

This is a song that I have been listening to for the past three weeks every time I drive my car, and so I know how the original sounds like. I should say that you guys have done a decent job. George I think as many have said, you could have made it better on the emotional front if you had put more effort on the finer aspects of singing.Instead of trying to finish off in two or three tries, if you take more time on each part you would be able to perfect each part. You have a terrific melodious voice which rightly suits modern hindi songs! You are a born singer and one of the most gifted talents here on Muziboo.
Meera you sounded so mellifluous as usual. Only flaw was your pronunciation at some parts and towards the end your voice seemed wavering in pitch. Though it sounds simple it’s not an easy song to sing and you both have done a good job.

George , this is not as good as your other songs. To me you didn’t sound too comfortable in this song. i guess you need to smile more while singing this one. If i were you i would give this one more attempt and try to sing as kishore kumar would sing this song.

The female voice sounded more pleasant.

I had few pointers to make it PERFECT….

I felt “aaWAz ka DAriya”….was little different tha original…if I am correct….I mean their is SMALL HARKAT on the bold letters in original….

Also, “BEhata hoo MEIN” was little differnet…

Alos, ’AAWAZ hoo MEIN" had problems
