Great Work George, Way to go….needs guts of steel to cover this one and u surely showed that u have it……I absolutely loved it….some parts were rendered very well. Does not want to point the mistakes (very few though) but if i don’t, then it ain’t serve the purpose of this forum. So will just point out the areas of improvement.

1. Diction can be improved a lot and im sure you know this already. Minor ones are okay in my eyes as i want to rate the overall performance but found a major one at 3:41-3:44. Anyways, keep doing what u r doing. With some more efforts, I am sure u will overcome these issues and I sincerely believe that u r improving from some of ur past songs. Its like me singing in Tamil:)

2. 0.50-0.52, EK NAYI was rendered differently along with 2:15 -2:19 PHIR BHI NA AAYI AANDHI USKE ARMAANO ME. Any specific reasons to do that variation? Well, i wont say its a mistake cos its different from original but just slightly distracted me a little bit while listening….Cos, the way you sang them does not smoothly fit in the tune of the the song……Would like to know your views on the same? If its just ur variation or ur interpretation, then just dont bother answering this one :)

Enough of this crictical assesment, Now ill let u know the points i liked int his rendition.

1. Great vocal adaptibility u have for such songs. These songs just flow with ur voice.

2. The overall feel of the song was very nicely conveyed. I can vouch that the lyrics of this song is one of the best written by Javed Akhtar in his entire life……has a lot of meaning…….and u potrayed that very well……i could feel the song….

3. Falsettos is one thing that i try and learn from you….u did them great in this one too……

Overall, i just loved it……Great song choice for ur voice and ur singing completes the rest……Congratulations and I appreciate the hardwork put into this one which can be seen clearly…….

It is strange but never heard any of the songs in Rock On, my only association of this album is Muziboo, so when I read the title i thought you were covering another english number (I missed " the movie RockOn")

As you know what i feel about ur voice when you sing such songs, it was very good man, the energy in this song is awesome, diction issues will be there don’t worry about them. What i like about this rendition is that i feel that it came straight from your heart.

I have some memories attached to this song… it always brings a smile on my face…:)

BTW if i’m not wrong, this song has been done using the multiple voice effect right…? I think u couldve done away with that in the ‘Tum Ho Toh’ part… it wouldve sounded softer and sweeter that way… but do correct me if i’m wrong…:)

Really nice track, great vocals… sounds quite professional. The best track i have heard of yours (they are all very good) where everything comes together in a good mix. It can always be improved, and i don’t speak that language to comment about the diction etc, but it’s really cool.

George…. very nice singing…. but one thing…. why dont you mix this with the original track?… you will find it as part of the 2nd DVD in the Rock On DVD thats available in the stores nowadays…. or better still, if you want it, I can email it to you….
