The rendition is very convincing – I can hear your anger, frustration, hatred, what you have!
A little anecdote ‘bout LP – I had gone skiing back in Jan 2001 when I saw this band playing near the ski patch, it was freaking cold. Thought to myself, man, these guys must be very driven to be performing here, and resumed skiing….! And 2 yrs later, I recognized the same band received the best hard rock group of the yr at Grammy’s! And 2 yrs after that I paid $50 to buy a ticket to see the same guys perform alongside Metallica! One amazing ride.
Though, I must say, not a huge fan of their music, all their music have the exactly ‘same’ formula!

Aight George, first of all I have to appreciate your efforts to cover LP… Really great… I understand it isn’t a piece of cake!! However there are a couple of more things to it…

- Vocals need more aggression (It might also be cuz I’ve not heard you in this avtaar before, but I still felt there was some more aggression needed… I do understand our neighbors wouldn’t be happy with that point!! :P)

- Some timing issues (not like original) on
“I find the answers aren’t so clear
Wish I could find a way to disappear”
but considering your versatility I leave it there…

- Mixing is an important aspect of LP songs… If you listen to the way they mix their songs, there is hardly any levels of high frequencies in the vocals there… It is more of mid range and reverb (with a little different kind of setting though)… I will leave that to the mixing maestros here!! Also the vocals in the original mix are not as bright… So, that helps them keep it down and easy on ears even when they shout or growl… You know what I mean??

All in all a great track… Great efforts… Keep up the good work… Cheers… \m/
