This is great!! What an interesting arrangement…. I am just spell bound by the chord progressions. Brilliant work! Just a suggestion…. could have used soft snares arbitrarily with high reverb (with a little echo)in the verse….

George and Tara,
As usual good work. For some reasons the vocals volume is not centered (high on left). Tara’s voice is not bright when compared to George’s. I think this is a dynamic vs. condenser mic problem?

Goes straight to my favorites…. Obviously a 5/5!

Great song and arrangement. Harmonically also little different song. Like the arrangement.

Vocals-George rocks
Tara – has sung well, but I feel somehow lack same energy as George. As Balu pointed out Tara voice could be little more bright and was panned to high on left (was this deliberate?).

The levels seem to be fine on both the vocal tracks (l and r). A smaller delay between them might help with the phasing and create a more balanced perception of l+r vocals.

Tara was good….at the start line I felt pitching a note not enough….I guess 0.19 to 0.21….I may be wrong….My ears are not in practise these days…. :D

Its always so nice to hear some original work……Good and simple arrangement….I like the first music….very simple and cool. Lyrics are really appreciable….Very good Job with the composition….sweet and simple….George and Tara, u both sound good….

I had some issues with the mix and Taras recording though :) I wish you could have kept only single track for the vocals. Would have made the song sound much much better….The expanded LEFT-RIGHT thing doesnt work for me for this kinda song. Coz its quite a melodic song….I mean thats only MY point of view… Taras track is quite noisy and has a couple of distortions while recording……

Overall a very nice song….Very good effort by the composer….Nice and chilled out arrangement…. :)

Making something creative is highly appreciated cause it brings out the best in a Composer, Singer added with the required flavor of BGM capturing the right mood alone can make it into a soul – rendering song.

The Lyrics with in depth meaning by Vishwa Deepak absolutely complimented by George, Tara blending their voices along with enchanting music made it a priceless melody.

Highly appreciate your talents and all the efforts to bring something innovative. 5/5 from me.

Great job singing, guys. What lovely voices you both have—sounded beautiful.

Rishi, terrific musical composition-I would have thought it was given by Shakar/Ehsan/Loyd or ARR. Please take this as compliment. Lyrics also sounded great, but I need to hear them again to make a real comment.

Overall, 5/5 from me. It sounded very professional and as if from a prof. album.

Neat composition. Really liked it a lot. I liked the vocals as well. Great job guys.Just a minor thing- Felt there could be more clarity in delivery of words at places (more prominent in the antaras/charanams). It would be great if you could post the lyrics here as well.

Its sounds little better.
I think its always a challenge to sing new song , it would be nice if the composer and engineer are there sitting in the same room with you. That way singers can concentrate on singing and not have to worry about mixing and stuff.

I am very impressed with Rishi, he has a excellent sense of harmony. His other tracks are also very impressive. It will be nice if he can join us here in Muziboo.

Felt very slight pitching issues in Tara’s vocals, when she starts “Mere Khuda” the first time and then in the first line she sang in the second antara. Other than that…. beautiful! 5/5.

George, i guess your hindi songs will go that last mile just with a bit more care on the diction. it quite has a non-desi touch to it. LOL! for instance, the s’es everywhere sound very non-hindi and sometimes a bit wierd (plz pardon me for that) :)

but still, this song deserves a 5 :-)

It’s always a pleasure to listen to your collaborations, you guys have rendered some masterpieces in the past…! However this time, when I saw the names of you two together I expected a bit more than what I heard… (but then maybe it’s just me, please don’t mind guys, we all know u rock!) This was ofcourse very very nice, but not one of your best as per me :)

(Also, GK, I agree a bit with Bodhi on the S’s, I have noticed this in your songs before too, there’s a slight lisp in your s’s that makes them sound a bit blunt…)

Anyway guys, you rock and always will, and as I told you before George, I am eagerly waiting for that album… :)

GK, as I said earlier, its not that I did not like it… It infact, was better than many other popular uploads on here (but ofcourse, with the two of you in it)… just that I didn’t find the singing to be very free flowing this time, like your other renditions, it was like you guys were trying too hard (for a change)!
Maybe you guys did not open up as you wanted your voices to sound soft and soothing…?? (esp Tara’s singing, I feel it was too airy)

but then again, duhhh its just me talking :-) :-P

BTW So sorry for not mentioning earlier, the composition by Rishi is really beautiful, and the lyrics too :)

Very good effort. I liked the melody and the singing.

Things that could make it better :

There needs to be some kind of an instrument that can keep the timing. This would have a provided a better structure to the song. Arp on transistion would have made it interesting. Since it relies so much on the melody, it could have been little more interesting.

One of the hardest thing to do when collaborating online is making sure the melody/dynamics gets accross to the singer. It really helps if the composer is a good singer too. One more reason why I’m trying to shore up my singing ;-).

I liked this composition a lot – simple and elegant.

George, liked your expressions in this song. Well modulated vocals to suit the song – Sounded awesome. As an area of improvement I can only suggest subtle improvisations and curves in select spots to add more color.

Tara, sounded wonderful also. Lyrics were not clearly heard in some instances but singing was great. You voice sounds fresh as always.

Good work Rishi and Vishwa Deepak. Do post more of your work here on muziboo.

I felt that both of you had portions where the clarity of the words could have been better.

Beautifully sung by both of u…I really liked the smooth flow in george’s voice which was not so much in Tara’s. It is a bit open. I feel it cud be the prob with recording, mixing etc.

However, singing was amazing by both of u…really enjoyed.

Okay first of All Rishi and Vishwa u must b seriously inspired by some different sorta Music then most of us are……the composition was totally out of box and along wid the electronica track it turned my head round….i mean wat superb thinking and different Composition……Lyrics AHA! i must say it had such words i have rarely heard in ny of our bollywood Songs….Kudos to u both, only wished the track’s Antra wud have a more smooth and pleasant appeal,it was too harsh on ears.

well about Singing this has to be a very tough Song to sing i mean the way it hit lows….Awesome George and Tara its not all easy to understand such a tune……
George bro u were so patient and expressive while Singing it, just one complaint is a little more command on Pronunciation of words……Sunoo,Sada in the very beginning are a little slippery,later sui and some other words….not a big problem though just a note i made….Ur Mere Khuda was Very Soulful….
Tara Superb Expressions plz b a lil less Airy as rightly marked by Neha……
above all i knw it wud have been tough for u both to cast those difficult words into the Song :p
well but all in all a Bravo Composition and Bravo Song……directly into my favorites :)

Guys a good work. Better choice of instruments can make it much better.

Voice according to composition is little low at one point “meri hansi” it mixes with sounds make them separate. It will be much better if you think. Please try it with background flute.
