Good one George. But frankly you seemed little strained at the higher registers and some minor off’s here and there quite unlike you and so affected the throw and flow:) You could have reduced the scale a wee bit. That would have given your voice the weight it requires at the highs and it would not have gone thin. Still great effort. Singing at ARR’s pitch is never easy.

At the start you goofed up the lyrics a bit:) Also the start volume of ur vocals were a bit lesser as compared to the track. The lower notes need a bit of volume tweak as its difficult to hear it in the mix.

Urdu pronunciation of Phir is PHHir not Fir.

Nice energetic vocals, Some off’s here and there but I liked it overall.

More than just a good attempt. I liked your improvised Vande Maataram. At one time, the Vande ‘E’ sound hit a different note than the original, but it sounded right in the melody. Don’t know if it was a deliberate impro, but it sounded good. Also, liked the sudden energy spike in the ‘Vande’ at the end, when the scale goes up. Guess that is where you probably simply let go… :)
ARR’s scale in this is a slight overkill indeed. And I’d tend to agree with you on the doubling voice. I think the result is better without risking it…
A few small diction stuff which I wouldn’t bother to touch upon, the song did all the magic for me… :)

Hey Bro…… Wonderfully done….
Indeed a killler song…. I couldnot find an evident glitch as such…. I may only agree with the low volume in the initial lower registars…. which may be increased…. Hats off for the harmonies at those high ends…. The sharpness of the vocals specially in the high mid area may be reduced to get a smoother result……… Thumbs up from me…. U can try the C4 compressor for that purpose…. Thumbs up from me….will wait for the revised edition for the fvorite option :)

Excellent Vocals…Lame track…I thought it was pitch perfect, and since you’re most at home at this scale, I know that you’d intentionally incorporated the strain in your voice…Glad you did, it would’ve sounded blah otherwise…Wish you’d sung mataram as ARR did 4:35 onward though…but oh well, I likey still – flaws n all :)

Absolutely brilliant singing, George! It is not an easy task covering this song in the exact high pitch without spoiling the beauty of those nuances. Loved it! Did not bother too much about the offpitches since the feel was amazing throughout.

total praises for trying this song. extremely tough song in terms of pitch specially and other nuances. u have done well although ur voice was strained at many places especially towards the end.
having said this….u have given the song a little different feel and style of ur own….which is very nice to see. hard to tweak such a BIG HIT of ARR and do it well.
