Hey thanks a lot all of u guys…Was not in touch… Yeah first thing, as George said, “We’ve been working on it for about a month”, is partially true. Its not WE. George was very quick in finishing his parts and the whole production\arranging part wass delayed becoz of my schedules. So the whole delay is by me!!!

Lastly, lemme tell you all a thing. George is amazing. He follows the tune very well and his pitching sense is more than perfect. I have seen even few professionals who have bad pitching. George is perfect up to 98%. Thats really great. I was blown away by his sense of pitching. Other areas are there to improve, but the main area PITCh, is perfect. Kudos George!!!

Hmmm… I hate to write a comment here… I was wearing my headphones and listening to this song… Totally lost in a different world and so relaxed… Now once the song was over, I was still there, but then I thought I need to come back and tell the world how good the song was…

Actually I don’t see a scope for improvement that I can mention… Sunny, being the best at mixing and George being the best at singing, we ought to expect such high quality of music!! Sunny has done a great work with composition again… I must tell you guys that this composition is a similar one to our song “Rim Jhim”… The melody, arrangement and the progression is pretty much on the same lines… However, this one has Georgy’s mesmerizing voice though…

I liked the western style alaaps that George has done… I don’t think we need a female singer… The style that George has sung it with, suits the tune… I am happy that George hasn’t made even a single error on pronunciation… At least I couldn’t find it in the last couple of times that I’ve been listening to the song… Great work guys… Keep rocking!! The music is amazing. very refreshing, very original, The beats are amazing. The choice of instruments is perfect for a love song. you are a professional and it shows. The lyrics are also very good but i’d like to point out that when you are saying… mera dil le ja then saying mujhe chodd na jaa in the very next line , it sounds contradictory. Sunny the music is so good that if you give this music to bollywood it could very well be one of the best songs of 2008.

Buddy !! I’m so happy for you…. It’s gem of work you’ve done here. no words to describe how good you were.
Here is my critique.
When you start the song n till it gets to the the first verse, you were simply brilliant…. it sounds an extraordinarily amazing singer is singing.
Whenever you sing those yeaaaaahs n western kind alaaps in the song … it was brilliant, sounded so original n refreshing.

When you sing kab tum humko apne ……

the word kab maybe should go on a higher note.

Also from this moment onwards the volume of the vocals should again get as high as the what it was in the start. otherwise it sounds the energy level is not same as the starting.

The song is already very close to perfect … so you guys should make it even more perfect…… Cause this song is about to make history :) 5/5

as musicians, why is it that lyrically, we seem to get stuck with the same idiomatic phrases, particularly when it comes to love songs?

not that theres anything wrong, but where’s YOUR love? did you borrow it from shakespeare?

george: ur voice is amazing as usual. seein ur song list, i really think u shd b challenging ur voice for some out-of-the-box stuff, operatic, dramatic, loud, in ur face. of course, if you do find your calling. we all know george can pull off the usual stuff. :D. just a thought. :)

sunny: among ur tracks i have heard, i like ur work on this one the most. i am quite safely assuming the loss of quality due to streaming.

@Vikram: Thanks for the insightful feedback man. I totally agree with you about trying different styles of music. I’ve tried to do that here. So far I’ve tried Hard rock, classic rock, pop, blues and some hindi and malayalam. I plan to continue experimenting different styles. As far as Opera goes, I just never liked Opera a whole lot, except for Boecelli I guess. Could try something hes done I guess.

Singing is good too, George…you seem to be holding back a bit though.

As for the lyrics, ‘pyaari pyaari mera dil le ja’ did not appeal much……awkward syntax there :(
Sounds odd if pyaari pyaari refers to the girl…
If it refers to the ‘dil’, its grammatically incorrect….should be pyaara pyaara dil……and even then its an odd line….you wouldn’t really be calling your own dil ‘pyaara pyaara’…
Hope I’m making myself clear :)

Overall though, a very nice composition… Enjoyed listening!

I agree completely with Vikram. Lyrics are very average. Sunny : your arrangement and composing are very beautiful but lyrics – you may want to ask somebody else. Not a single line stayed in the mind.

George and Sunny make sure that you pay heed to Vaishali’s suggestion above as she has a valid point and changing that line will make a subtle change and a bigger impact on the meaning and the context of the song you want to portray.

Hey Vaishali why don’t you suggest 3-4 options for that line. This change will indeed make the song Eternal.

This is some serious work…… Very pro…. I think you two can try for an album togather…… with fusion of two genre of music….n your singing is very friendly to Indo-western style rather than only eastern…. Singing wise very good….but I felt in the first place Sunny could have punched in a few more tune differnces in the antara….coz it went all the same through the whole song….n with repeatations of each line twice doesn’t apppeal that much….n 2ndly you could have punched in a few tricks of variations….like same lines sung in a different manner….stresses on words etc…. However this this was only a humble suggestion from my part knowing your capabilities…. I would like congratulate you both for taking the 1st step towards professionalism…. Do take it seriously n try for a album…. I have no doubts on your singing but do take care of the tune & repeatations carefully….5/5 from me….

I am really late for this song. Read all the comments. There were many interesting.

The composition and singing was innocent. This is definitely one of the best original compositions in Muziboo. I loved it all the way. Many have commented on the lyrics being mediocre, I felt it was better the way it was written as it had some simple things to be said. In life plenty of times we say all the wrong stuff to make our message classy, and forget that the words from heart are simple. But there were some grammar issues as pointed out by many. The arrangement and mixing was superb. I got to learn a lot from this song. The biggest lesson was that I got a different version of you. You are considered a professional singer in my mind now. Thanks for sharing this song.5/5. It stays in my heart.
