Comments and Feedback on Songs

Just wanted to get peoples opinions and suggestions on commenting and feedback on songs. If you are the artist posting a song, what is it that you are expecting to hear back from the people who comment? What are the key areas? Does it need to be rated based on each category? Would it help if everyone follows some standard for feedback?
Hope to hear from you all!

I dont so much care about acknowledging a comment as I care about reciprocation. Someone takes time to listen to your song, then you should take time to listen and comment on that person’s song too. I’ve seen some people just listen and dont leave a comment. Now that’s plain rude.
It’s about courtesy and respect. Everyone is a musician or an aspiring one here. Aren’t we supposed to encourage and help each other in this network? Let’s be kind to listen to others. That’s how we learn.
Coming to the point: I dont really care if people don’t respond to my comments personally. There…. that’s my cents on this subject…. :-)
Sai, I agree to your views. Before reciprocation comes acknowledgment, thats the first step in the right direction. If a person doesnt acknowledge comments, then the odds of that person reciprocating is very grim ……you can check this out on this platform ….I am not making this up :-). I agree 100% with you, every artiste needs encouragement….you are in my team :-)

I simply second Murali. When I post a song, I wud expect those 3 points which he has mentioned, I would very much appreciate 2 (pointing shortcomings).
Feedback should be honest, direct from the heart. No second thoughts should be there abt who would think what. That would really help the performer.
Cheers:)
