Going straight into my favs :)
There’s a similar fusion/semi-classical composition I’ve heard, which had keyboard by A.R.Rahman (before he became famous). It was on an album called Colors with Kunnakudi and Zakir Hussain. I think the piece sounds startlingly similar.
Amazing work, I dunno how I missed it for so many days. Can you please get your accordian playing friend to play more? Please please!! Simply lovely :)

Actually, you are right, Prasanna. The raag on which this piece is based on, is very similar to one of the compositions in that one. If you like this kind of music, try listening to ‘How to name it’ by Illaiyaraja. The second part has a piece in the same raag as this piece.
Unfortunately for my Accordian friend, he is sitting in the US and me, in Sweden. So it would be really difficult for us to get together to make more music. :-)

Lovely composition buddy….Especially loved the scale change at the end….But i felt it could’ve been a slight bit slower, accordion sounds a bit hurried at places….but all in all a superb effort
