Dear Folks,
I was thinking of covering Hindi songs for quite some time. I did not have the courage to do it as I was bit worried about my Hindi Diction. As I had to come out of this comfort zone of singing only Tamil Songs, I took this initiative to try one of my favorite movie songs from Hindi…. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge…….
Hope you folks will like this song and provide your feedback as usual which will help me to decide if I need to continue with Hindi Songs or not…. Having said that I also see this from another angle…. See how the likes of Udit Narayanans and Sukhvinder Singhs kill tamil diction through the songs…. why can’t I try this? …. LOL

Fareej bhai, i wld say you should sing MORE hindi songs… you are alot better than non-hindi (M-Tongue) singer’s like me… keep them singing and you will get more comfortable completely… loved the feel and expressions… this is my fav and first hindi song i know… liked ur take… fareej…

Lol@your remarks about Udit and co… :) Singing-wise, control irunthathu but konjam expressive ah paada try paNNalaam… Hindi la paadaravanga stress kodukka maattaanga… But naama due to our mother tongue influence stress koduththu paadiduvoam… You may need to overcome that… Enakkum antha problem irukku… :) From the mixing point of view, reverb romba add paNNi irukkeenga… Try employing wetness to your vocals… :) Covering more hindi numbers will work either ways – it will subdue the diction errors or people will get used to our diction errore… :D Just kidded… Just stay determined and render your songs… All the best… Good pick to start your innings in Hindi… :)
