NVK sir…I just love this ghazal and its my wish to cover this GEM whenever I am ready….it might take a long time :)

Just 1 minute into this rendition and I CLICKED the fav button….but heard the full song before commenting:) Have heard umpteen versions of this ghazal from Ashaji and Hari saab…but the one from Khan saheb just stands out tall no doubt.

Kya Khoobi se nibaya hai aap ne….dil Khush kar dala……every note and expressions were just top notch……just loved it and goes to my favourite….really happy to open the innings of this post:) You know sir…you and now Naqvi saab are my inspirations to better at singing on this forum…….god bless.

Have Heard So Many versions ,but Mehidi sahab ka baat hi alag hai!! He always do spontaneous improvisations a lot …aap Mehdi Hassan Sahab ke hi alag alag live concerts me oh baath dekh sakthe hain ! Kis version ko follow kare ?!:) It’s a Million Dollar Question !!!!His each live performance of this particular ghazal is unique !!Wonderful & soulful lyrics !!

Great singing NVK. I think when singing Ghazal it is more suitable to your style and voice will be of Mehdi Hazansabb, I feel, may be due to my deep love to his songs. Enjoyed a lot. Thank you for sharing.

You sound terrific Enveek Ji. If I would have not known you I would have thought of some one from UP or Pakistan singing this ghazal. I am glad to see this track surfacing up….otherwise there was just one ghissa pitta track for the film version which in fact had the same one antara being repeated and hence there was no room for variation in harkats. Nice to see Mehdi Hassan lovers on this forum….expanding the horizon in Hindi music. You sang it beautifully. Lovely presentation.

I’m too amazed to see this new track on this famous ghazal of Mehdi Hassan saheb…. not as good as one can be but still better than any other tracks available…. I loved the improvisation you took in the antara especially on “Kuch to Mere Pindaar-e-Mohabbat Ka Bharam” one…. such a movement might be easy in live but not in karaoke singing you know it…. well lovely singing Krish bhai…. enjoyed it from someone after a long time :-) keep sharing like that.

You have taken tender loving care in delivering this cover…… and you have done justice to Khan Saheb, the ghazal, and the track where by the result is simply outstanding. A few touches of your own at Kucch to Mere pindaare…. and towards the end marks this cover with NVK stamp!! L+F

One of my All time,Most favourite Ghazal of Hassan-saahab Based on “kalyan” Raag……Actually,I have Heard the Different version of this Hassan’s Saahab Song ….In Which,One line He has Sung With 7-8 Different Modulation’s….& that Only Hassan saahab Could Do….Probably that was a live version Maybe………

Again to Mention,A Great listen in your Brilliant Matured & Controlled Vocal’s….It Really Requires ,the Courage & Expertise to

Beautiful, you sang it with such delicacy and exquisitely spaced nazuk harkats, NVKji. I agree Ghazals are so tough to render due to taal, and doing this on a k-track deserves a special applause! Excellent breath control getting back to Ranjish line as well, esp. after the varied Liye aa every time.

Can’t even imagine to reproduce songs of such genre by me as I have the least knowledge of Ghazals. Except, these kind of songs come out in low sound from some Star Hotel Restaurants to create a pleasant and soothing mood…. Felt something like that….LOL. Beautifully done and very professional presentation too !!

NVK Sir, I keep listening to this Ghazal in Your voice since a while actually. I started commenting a few times and then realised I am not knowing how and what to write so that it reflects as exact as possible the wonderful “listener” experience I have gotten hearing it. Firstly, I am very very happy this Ghazals are getting shared here, on top with such accuracy. Can’t say much about singing, it’s just beautyful and beautyful again. Yes, I do find a slight similarity of voices between You and Naqvi Sahab. Just wondering if I am the first one noticing it?
Now if I end in saying “nice” “enjoyed” “liked” and so on, would just be too less I know that. Thanks for sharing it. And, no, I am not at all sorry this time for landing late here with commenting, because I did by all means take my own sweet time to enjoy listening to it first. :-)
