Different Style of singing I could feel as George said….but it was pleasant to my ears as always.

Few point i wud like to mention:

the transition you do at few places didn’t sound complete to me….for ex. chhhhaaaavvvvv while singing this transition you should pronounce the last ‘vvvv’ for enough time….ito convey the word CHHAV….off course this is my openion.

few places I felt ‘CHHav’ was little lower than the mark….

but this is really make a lot of musical sense to me….:D

Sorry for the late comments, was quite busy.
I agree with the rest about the refreshing rendering. You have not tried to imitate Rafi and you have done it in your own style.

One thing I would like to point out is the line “Yahi to baat ho rahi hai kaam ki” in te first stanza and the line “Ghata Utar ke aagayi zameen pe” in the second, in these two lines, the notes you have taken are a little different from the original…not wrong…but different. Not sure if that was a modification you did on purpose.

Overall, very good singing, as usual :-)

Regarding the steps you have mentioned, I was myself not too sure about those. When I heard the original, it confused me further….:) As you also would agree, it is more difficult to unlearn than to learn . So I let it be like that. I sang the way I knew it, the way i had learnt it. ….if it was different, unfortunately it was…….but it was not due to a deliberate attempt to do it differently…

That was very nice… Your variation in the 1st line of both the charanams was well done ( not the same as the original :)

But, somehow I did feel that you were holding back your voice a little bit in the pallavi of the song. Got much better as it progressed though.
