Dear Krishnan Sahab. Very happy to see there is some one who praises Mehdi Hasan Sahab and pays his tribute by selecting one of his popular song/ghazal. I liked the extra softness you gave in your rendition. Your gaeyki need not require any further feedback.

This song is like embedded in my memories. The first thing I noticed in the track was its 2 note lower scale. Usually for a difficult song the producers of K-Track reduce by 1 note. But its singers choice where he/she is comfortable. The other thing which can ruin the entire mood is diction of certain words if not rendered the way they are supposed to be and meant. There were not 1 or 2 but 3 such words that need attention. Finally the word Shukriya is sung with an accent in Sur, only in the intro and ending which to me is like a mini trade-mark for this song and I was expecting it to be there and was not difficult either. I may have not written all this but your description requested as such, and also expectations are higher from a singer who posses a decent voice and control as yours.
