Oru nostalgic feel aanu ee paattinu… :) I think tht was the magic tht stood out in most of the songs done by Johnson sir!

You have done a brilliant job I should admit sir!! Simply loved ur voice as always and your singing was really good!! Just felt tht you could have done the beginning of the pallavi a little throughout the song…. When you sang the “Mandaara Cheppundo… Maanikya Kallundo” throughout the song, it sounded as though u were gasping for breathe… That is the only thing I felt could have been done better with a smooth flow… Apart from tht you did a splendid job sir!

Aditi – You have done a good job too… Just felt the high pitch in the anupallavi did not come out well… I could feel a slight strain in the voice when singing tht portion… Also the words “Ullil aamodha” in the thundupallavi and the end were being sung differently… The notes for “aamodha” here were somethg else… If u carefully listen, you can make out the difference in the notes that you sing and NVK sir sings at the end, when both of u sing the line together… That sounded a bit off… Apart from these good singing by you too!

On the whole loved the song and lovely pick sir! Goes to my favs! :)

NVK sir – you were very expressive and brought in the right mood.

Aditi – the lack of clarity of your vocals in the mix took away a bit and you sounded a little tentative at certain spots, but kudos on the next Mal cover. Thoooovalundo espec sounded very very sweet. Assuming that you do not have Mal roots, your diction was pretty good since we make it as tough as it can get :-). Looking forward to more Mal covers from you.

NVK sir ….beautiful sung ….as Santosh said that one of your best in terms of recording…loved your voice and singing.

Adithi ….you have sung this very well….however I too felt lack of clarity. Also at high notes ….you were pretty shrill so couldnt make out the words.

Overall I liked this duet ….5/5 from me.

Listening to you after a long time NVK … enjoyed your voice in this one … nicely done and the boldness and experssion in your voice is much better now than your early songs I must say!. In some places you could still improve with crisper harquats … however you have managed to get rid of most of your trembly harquats of the past. The tempo of this song should be faster in my opinion but enjoyed this v.much. Awesome work.

Adithi … I can see that your singing talent is classy … you are a natural from what I hear … the only correction for you is please sing louder and bolder … the rest is all there pretty much. Very well done.

Nice one guys and in fact would say this is competes with the original song very well. I was not impressed with MGS’s rendition in the original that much to be honest … he should have done much better!. Great going to you two!.

Have not heard this song before but really liked it.

NVKji, you have sung this really well. Expressions and voice modulations were the highlight.

Aditi has also sung well, though the recording quality did not do justice to her singing talent.
