Nice rendition! Had you not mentioned, I wouldn’t have thought you didn’t know Tamil well! Anyway, IMHO I think emotional value of the song is more important than the pronunciation – of course it helps. And I thought you sang this with great ‘bhaavam’.
The great KJY himself was ‘accused’ of having had some ‘diction’ issues in Tamil with words like ‘kiliye’ ‘thirukkoil’ etc which didn’t detract one iota of quality and greateness from his songs.
