Soothing and pleasant to the ears is the first thing that came to my mind after I listened to this. It’s a tough song to execute and I noticed some issues when you went high up the scale. If I am not mistaken, you reached half a note less when you sang the … “nizhal evide” part. It could go slightly higher. But hey, it is a difficult song! :) 4.75/5 from me for this excellent effort :)

Nice rendition NVK … came out well overall.

Could have been better in the depth and flow. As I have heard the original I felt so. That is not easy of course as we are talking about greats with a wealth of experience to draw on. But I felt that you could have tried better in that department … showing those volume variations and that pining expression that this song needs.

Otherwise it was a good number to your awesome collection.

Yes, there are some issues which can be solved with singing more of KJY’s songs. this is our family’s most loved song. so don’t want to give a big write up on pointers, but Sir, you sing very well in Hindi and other Malayalam songs. So even this you can do with little more practice that is all. for a person of your caliber nothing is impossible you are an excellent singer and down to earth person. I am very much younger to you and have lot of respect. Sing more of KJY’s songs we will come and listen sir. thumbs up than sollanum. You have a clear voice, but on the high pitches you are shaky – i recommend you to atleast do 2-3 hours riyaz daily, even at this age you can polish your voice with extra care/riyaz. This is just my comments, upto you to decide…….
