Is it you and your daughter? Thats a commendable attempt by her… and your vocals are just amazing as usual… except a very few minor pitch problems.

Priyanka’s vocals are bit flat on some points and needs more passion & energy while singing…. may be a bit more loudness and energy will unveil the true capabilities of reaching high and low notes… just a suggestion. I think, she shall try some energetic song for that…

And… Yeah, she will sing for the last night… so don’t think I’ve put the project aside or chosen someone else for it. :)

This is sweet efforts….and I like ur idea od singing with Priyanka….I would also try singing with My daughter and would upload soon(in atleast 5 years) she is just 3 Months Old…. :D

Habbit for Priryanka Observed that….After picking up starting notes of the Line well…. at the End of the Line….She use to take notes less seriously and that why seen notes moving….

For you….Great rendering….but Not very confident Singing I Felt….May be wrong….

Good attempt is what i can say… Pitching part is really something to be focused on. Recording, pls try to cut off the input level of the mic. Its distorting.

While i totally understand how difficult it is to record a “duet” because ur work just doubles and all the other nuances…here s my take …

a. i think both of you are from a very classical background but maybe this is one of the first commercials.

female vocals – if she practises more on the down notes…it will help her go “higher” cos i noticed that she could not sustain the down notes …if shes able to do that …she can pull her voice higher…

c. considering the high standards you and ur daughter have maintained…i would say this is definitely not the best…but there is scope of improvement

d. also NVK…it did sound to me that jagjit singh was trying to do a commercial song :) .maybe becos the last one u did was a ghazal…

the blend of the duet could be a little better…it did come across two people from two different genres doing a mix and match in the song….

once again …i could be wrong on all of the above …its just my personal opinion on it

i think priyanka can do with a lill more riyaaz and give a lill more energy to the song….the feel which we get frm hearing the original….its extremely romantic…of course its difficult to be on par with alka yagnik…but she can do much better…

just to comment from my experience…. YOu need a limiter in your duets…. Its a device or if youre using a KORG machine… Switch it on please, and you will see equal voice level between singers, which at times both of you are faltering…….but still maintain your consistence…GREAT!
