Very beautiful pick for your voice, and pretty good feel through the song.

Maine nahin jaana almost every time— very beautifully done.

A few pitching issues, for instance 2.33 when you finish Deewanaa was a tad off. Ending of anjaana @ the end of the 1st charanam didn’t quite fit in, IMO. Felt, you had missed the progression of notes there.

Good cover otherwise.

Hi Sriram,

Lovely song and track and voice.

Your expressions were well ‘contrived’, good and delightfully subtle. A lot of people miss the delicate intricacies of this song!. However, now that you have such areas down pat, you need to slightly vary it each time with an extra natural feel and deviate from your plan a bit … you will be surprised how it may turn out!. Improvisation comes with adventure.

However, the let down was the “Anjaaaaana….” each time, in my opinion. That speedy briga that you need after you sustain “anJaaaa……” is just slipping. Drawing a gymnastic parallel, when you were meant to do a double twist followed by a graceful semi-turn, you have just turned too soon missing the double twist and landed a bit ungainfully!. This tells me that you need to practice (medium to) fast briga exercises for better control in such places, in your own style if you like.

You are improving a lot with every song I have heard so far!. You have good sur and expression and are capable of doing a perfect job I feel.

On the mixing, may be your voice was a tad high and dominated the tablas a bit I felt.

Nice presentation … it was good and I enjoyed listening to it.

You should attempt Mere Jeevan saathi ….from the same movie …or if you have the ktrack let me know ….I will attempt it …

Sriram – Its a beautiful song by the legend. IMO, SPB had a strong south indian accent. you have considerably avoided it. You are as expressive as always. ‘Maine nahin jaana’ was beautiful. Liked it.
