Sriram – ur singing has no issues. very nice. But there are some subtle pronunciation issues. Let me give u an example.

In both Malayalam and tamil there are many words which are the same. The line “azagil niRaiyum azagaam nin” can be either tamil or malayalam. But since it is a malayalam song, u need to bring in subtle differences in the pronunciation.

azagil – both za and “l” must be lighter in malayalam than tamil

niRaiyum – ni must be lighter in malayalam than it is in tamil, Ra is much harder than tamil and for when you say “yum” the lip should close much more gently than it does for tamil.

Just a few nitpicks as I have always liked ur singing.

Great job guys. I loved this rendition. I think the only area for improvement was Sriram’s pronunciation. It was not bad though. Great singing by the two of you. 5/5 from me.

Wow…great song equally well sung by both of you. Excellent feel and expressions by both.

As many have said about Sriram’s diction issue I wont go in to that again…But I felt certain sangatis like at “gopiKA vaSANTham” were missing in Sriram’s rendition. Even at the starting line of antara “NEEla” needed some more twist in the tune. I did feel these slight, but important issues (according to me), did take away the charm little bit. Even if it was done as an improvisation, I felt it could have been avoided (I mean the improvisation)

Rashmi you were awesome as usual….

Hope you will take these critical remarks in the right spirit…
