The tune and the lyrics of this song are simple, flexible and superlative. The movie has only the female solo version of the same.
In my imagination I have conceived a different perspective of the tune and the lyrics.
Instead of the heroine longing for the hero’s attention, it is the hero, in a drunken mood, desparately trying to patch up with the girl after a mess up.
I tried an abstract voice modulation for this mood.

I intended to sound a little dramatic – inspired by the styles of CS Jayaraman, Thiruchi Loganathan, Nagoor Hanifa -The difficult part was to maintain consistency of the abstract tonal quality all thro the song.
