You are BACK in the groove with this song! Congrats! Aditi… well, wouldn’t be my choice for the feel of this song.
I am not sure about the pitch in certain areas. I tried to listen to the original on MusicIndiaOnline, but didn’t come across this song. Eg: (pallavi) “thinkal thulumbum…” and (anupallavi) “ninnil njann ennae…”. The vocal did not appear to blend with the violin counter in the background.
However, overall A+. You sound yourself (marvellous!) and the mix/balance aspects are just right.
Never heard Afzal Yusuf before: what beautiful composition! Since I was scanning for your song, I came across “Poothumbi” from this movie on MIO: my kind of song!
