I’ve been battling a cold this week, and on a whim (or absolute boredom!) decided to record this wonderful song from the Malayalam movie – Sagar Alias Jacky.
I sang this song at a show in Chicago last summer, and fell head over heels in love with Malayalam music, so here’s my first attempt in this language.
I tried to follow the pronunciation but I don’t know the language, so please excuse any pronunciation issues and let me know, so I can improve!

Just love the way you emoted in this song….the songs’ style suits you very well…. You should put up a pure classical song now…even an unplugged version will do… :)

In a word, Brilliant.
I’ve been listening to dozens of songs this evening on muziboo, and I must say I havent come across such a stunning rendition.
When I started playing the song I thought it was the original one. I just couldnt make out any difference for most part of the song, except maybe a minor variation in style.
The humming at 1.29, not too sure if it exists in the original version.
Honestly, this is one song I simply love. There are many more such beautiful recent numbers in malayalam.
