Hi,

We have just rolled out a beta feature. You can now enable downloading for your music (by editing your song and checking a box). By default downloading is off though.

I have enabled downloading for United We Stand for everyone to try it out. You need to be logged in to download music and we will soon be providing you the number of downloads for your music.

I want to mention again that by default downloading is off for music and you have to enable it while uploading or by editing your song.

The downloaded file is the one at original bitrate. This feature is available to all users.

Nimo, You can only download songs for which the artist has allowd download! For that song, you can request the artist, he can come back and edit settings to allow downloads Cheers Nithya

Hi Nimo As Nithya said, you cannot download untill the artist allows it. This is to make sure that artists can protect their original compositions etc which they don’t want to be downloaded. We will soon have a store where they can put up such stuff for sale for a price if they want. Regards Prateek — Speak now against ban on live music in bangalore
