I have been on the look out for Telugu Karaoke’s for a long time, I couldn’t find one, but accidentally I listened to a Telugu song from the movie Vaana ((Mungaru Male in Kannada and the song is “Anisuthide yaako indu”) in Muziboo which was sung by Sriram Srinivasan. He sang the Telugu version on Kannada’s Karaoke track. From that moment I wanted to sing that song too, but I couldn’t lay my hands on that Karaoke.
Luckily I got this track from E-snips last week. This song in Telugu was sung by Karthik with subtle modulations that are close to SP Balu gari’s style. Telugu version’s arrangements were little different from the original (especially during the charanams), so I had to adjust my pace at some places, please ignore that and please pardon the quality of K-track. Let me also know how you like the mixing.

Wow Dhiraj.. Masterful rendition! I am not familiar with the song, but your version sounded very professional. You’ve got superb control and a beautiful tone to ur voice. Loved it! 5/5 from me. There were parts of the song where the pitch u sang in and the chords in the background track didnt match up, but i’ll give you the benefit of doubt :-)

Being in Hyderabad fro 2 years…I always loved to listen to TELUGU renditions of these types…
With that Experience…I can say that this sounded very soothing to me… :D
But I felt Energy should have been little Higher…i understand this is SOFT song…but I mean the energy in terms of EXPRESSION…No sure if anybody would agree with me…
But never heard of Original so as GEORGE says I give you Benefit of Doubt… :D

Sashank bhai, glad that you liked it and I am glad that you are familiar with telugu songs too, actually the song’s mood is not energetic, its a bit romantic and sad, the protagonist is not happy he is sad that he expressed his love through a letter and he is worried whether its reached his love or not… that’s the reason there is a tinge of sadness in the voice… hope that makes sense to you…
