Loved your rendition Dhiraj! Nice modulations, and most importantly, the original feel of the song was efficiently conveyed. Way to go man!
Usually, commenters do not write this, but I’ll dare to say this – if possible, pls keep a check on how your voice sounds at different notes and scales of any song. I know its best to sound natural all the times, but if in the attempt to hit certain notes, if the voice somehow sounds even slightly unpleasant, then, I feel, the beauty of the rendition is compromised.

Happy diwali….
I love this song and I think this is one of the toughest songs sung by kishoreji……
I could hear some offnotes…and the harqat in “mera naam” , " Gunguna rahee hai wo" wasnt upto the mark……but I wont blame you for that….we can’t do that if we don’t Kishore ji’s voice quality……

Last night at the Delhi Muziboo meet, just after Amit Karn, harry and self had finished singing this song, Harry told me that I absolutely had to listen to your version.

And he was right!This is such a beautiful rendition. And not an easy song too. The little ‘dabaav’ you have brought into the rendition is brilliant. Lovely emoting throughout.
