This song is from the movie Anwar which was released last year, even though the movie did not do well, its music became popular, especially two songs from this movie were huge hits they are Maula Mere and Tose Naina Lagey.
I am singing Maula Mere which is a romantic sufi song sung by Roopkumar Rathod, it sounds so divine in his voice. This song hooks you in such a way that it is difficult to get off from it. Not just the ‘mukhda’ but even the ‘antara’ of the song is a unique experience in itself that makes this easy-on-instruments and high-on-quality as one of the best romantic numbers heard last year.
It’s just a humble attempt to sing that number. Please bear with the quality of Karaoke-track, I could not get hold of a better one. Please listen to it at your leisure and leave a comment/advice.

Dhiraj…This song is one of my favorites currently… listen to it all the time… and you’ve sung it brilliantly… however, you should do something about the tone… amplify ur lower range… right now it sounds very nasaly. Also reduce the reverb a bit… The levels need to be adjusted too….

Definitely you sung one of my favourites with a string control on your voice……and you were able to carry the expression very well…. :)
But….Sorry there are always but’s in my comment… :) and that why I am on Muziboo…. :D
1. I appreciate this song a lot for carrying a URDU feel in the song from start to end….I was focusing on your Urdu pronunciation for ex. Ashique, KHushaboo
2. You sang it with a very thin voice, which I suppose does not suit for the URDU based songs….Just an suggestion……its all about your voice modulation….
3. You hit note wrong few times specially after you modulate the note……as it carries in the song….the next note you tend to hot flat….Just need to be careful there….
Rest sung very well….Aalaps are carried in nice manner….

Well done! I liked it! A very different song to attempt.
Some pronunciation issues and few lines neeed more voice power.
Lower notes need more volume. Well sung but the beauty was not shown since the focus was too low.
Expressions were great. Everything conveyed. Actually at the end, I felt like hearing you more than the original singer in the track. So, it was great!
