It’s been a while that I have updated my block with a new song.
Vacation (India trip), work and severe cold from past 4 months eluded me from singing. I still haven’t fully recovered from cold.
I wanted to sing this song from a long time, but couldn’t find a Karaoke. Finally I have decided to sing with out Karaoke. It’s a Ghazal “Guncha Koi” from the movie Mein Meri Patni Aur Woh. It is originally sung by Mohit Chahuhan. I tried something different with my voice this time, hope you all like it.

Loved it Dhiraj. Very very expressive and sung beautifully. Not easy to sing without music. I cant comment on the diction, but 5/5 from me for the singing.

very nice effort brother……some dictions issues….Guncha sounded like Gunjha……Saki sounded Sakhi….but these things are minor……i loved it……probably the best i’ve heard from u……liked the unplugged idea……

Very very Musical……Apart from all good words…I have few pointers….:D
- Guncha sounded like Gunjha…
- Kar diya at starts was hit little flat…need to take care of that….
- saKI ne firse….has a URDU pronounciation which you missed….if u would sing it correctly you would understand how ‘MAST’ u feel by singing correct Urdu….:)
- akhoke jaziro ko should sing like aNkhoke JaZIRO….

I also agree with some of you that there were some slight off notes, it was a bit difficult to cope up with the song without any BG music. But that doesn’t give me a chance to get over with it. I will try my best to make it better in future (unplugged versions)

Wonderful job, Dhiraj! As AJ and Shashank mentioned, guncha sounding like gunjha was a bit distracting….but sure didn’t take away from the superb singing. And if you can sound like this inspite of a cold, that’s not bad at all:)

Very nice rendition Dhiraj. There were a few off notes but overall you sounded great. Agree with above comments that guitar strumming accompaniment will elevate this. Shades of SPB in your vocals (voice and style of modulations). Very nice expressions. Nice to see you post a song after a long gap. Looking forward to more.

At the outset, please excuse me for the delay in coming back as I was very busy with a lot of official & personal commitments.
You were 100% perfect as far as I’m concerned. Melodious manly voice with full of expressions & feel. Regarding diction, even great singers like Rafisaab,Lataji, Ashaji,Yesudasji, S.P.Balugaru etc had diction problems in some famous filmi songs which was not at all an issue with the public for hearing & enjoying such songs.
So please do not be worried about such small things.You are a versatile singer and your unplugged rendition was as perfect as the original song. Hats off to you ! This goes into my favourites too.
Full marks to you! Dhiru Bhai, you’re an asset to “MUZIBOO” !
I’d also request you to do this with the K-Track.Unfortunately I don’t have that with me now. If & when I get it, I shall defenitely send it to you.
