I admire the amazing strength that God has blessed Annapoorna with. Her unshakeable faith and indomitable spirits are something that all of us should learn from! I am praying to God to help her recover very very quickly! All the best, Annie, for a fantastic year at school!

Your new recording gear rocks! :) Since you have asked for honest feedback, here it is and I hope it will help you do better:

First the positives….
1. Loved your voice. I envy people with a sharp, clear voice as yours withh less bass.
2. You have captured the tune and nuances quite well in most places.
3. Very expressive voice. Perhaps you were able to relate to the situation :)

Now the areas fro improvement:
1. Very minor offnotes.
2. “Vaangidavaa”….the vaa has a very subtle briga and must not be overdone. This is only an example but I hope you got the idea. Nothing major and can be corrected by conscious singing and practice. Similarly “kandenamma” in charanam 1.
3. Highest notes in “ilakkaNam”, “vaarthaiyillai” did not quite reach.

All the best , Deepa, for more and more lovely songs to be sung.

I am fav’ing this song for dear Annie and her excellent attitude! :D

Deepa! What a divine gesture this is!!!!!!! The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. And I could feel your immense, love, care and affection for annapoorna. I have not interacted with her very well. However her way of addressing people and the etiquette she exhibits in the virtual world cannot be confined to earthly words. Words are at scarce. You are really a reverend mother whom a child would crave for. My hearty genuflection with flooded eyes and a pious thought of gratitude(as a son).

Annapoorna! God bless you dear!!! A son is a son till he takes him a wife, a daughter is a daughter all of her life. Even at this age, I unknowingly or knowingly annoy my mother and later repent for that. So lucky your mom is. A very good daughter with impalpable love and affection for your mom. And I am really happy to know that you are back on track from January 7th. My blessings and prayers are always with you. I am sure you will rock. You are born to win as you are blessed by your mom’s love and affection emanating from her heart. You would leap over the hurdles to attain success. Wishes from your RAJ uncle.

Technicalities are nothing but worthless baubles infront of this genuine dedication. This is beyond those. May God bless you both and make your success pandemic, wherever you tread on.

Deepa ……beautiful singing ….I didnt know that she was your daughter ….had commented on one of her songs. I can understand your feelings as a mother, I have 2 teen year old daughters too. I had fractured my ankle, playing competitive sport last year and it took me almost a year to get back to normalcy….but she is young she will be back running soon ….great dedication LOVED it.
