Yaad Kiya Dil Ne On Harmonica Lyrics & Chords
This is one of the most beautiful romantic songs, where love has been depicted as ‘Missing the Lover’ which the very word ‘Yaad’ expresses everytime in different situational aspects connected with romance. The lyrics of this feelingful song as if are saying, “Romance lies in very small small things associated with our daily life experiences and not in any occasion as we keep on expecting.
I remember a sentence from ‘Baawarchi’ movie, where the hero says,”it is so simple to be Happy, but it is so difficult to be Simple." “Zindagi me Khushiyan chhoti chhoti cheejo mein hoti hai. Lekin aksar hum aisi chhoti chhoti cheejon ko gawa dete hai…. kisi badi Kushi ke intazaar mein.”
This song shows this simplicity in everything…. lyrics, composition and even singing with those emmotions. It straight way touches our heart and back of the mind we realise, “Yes… this is what Love really is. This is how the affection should be.”
Considering all these things and also to match the Harmonium piece at the beginning, I have played this song to give the romantic feel with a rhythmic zatka. I have also given the effect of Male-Female separation by changing the scales at the beginning of the stanza and the last taan, which I think gives better impact and feel of the original song. I would love to have your opinion on my performance and way of thinking as well.

Aise hi doosaronka sun sun ke aur follow karte karte improvisation karte gaya. Nonstop karte raha isi liye aaj khud ki ek style bana paya. Harmonium aur tabla do saal Sangeet Vidyalay mein jaakar thoda bahoot seekha hun. Lekin ye sab bhale hi 30-35 saalon ke baad kyun na ho, lekin aappreciate ho raha hai ye mere liye bade hi saubhagya ki baat hai.
