very nice guitar work….i like the vocals. The background harmonies not exactly matching was a very nice touch, adding texture and interest.

… yeah I grew up hearing that very raw, unrefined Appalachian harmony line, and I’ve never ceased to love it – I’ve been in enough choirs and such to be able to produce a more perfect, S&G or Peter Paul & Mary sounding mix, but I’ve always been drawn to the more approachable way of singing from the mountains – it tells a story so well, especially in a song like this one in which the story is the key element.
