This is a nostalgic song for me and following me when I am sleeping also.I was just 16 only when this picture released and remember my eldest brother accompanied me to theator to see this wonderfull movie. I think this is the first picture of Dharmendra(not sure) I became a fan of Mukeshji after hearing this song. Never got chance to sing this dard bhare geet on stage, thanks to Muziboo giving me a chance to attempt this in my limitted quality of singing. Hope my friends will like my this attempt

So finally we get to listen this one. Lovely singing Chadrasekharan Ji….you maintained your own voice and style and yet delivered it beautifully. Very sentimental song and knowing who wrote the lyrics it could easily be misconstrued as Shankar-Jaikishan’s composition. Enjoyed it. To Fav.

I will admire Burmanda and all the legand Music Directors of Hindi using the correct singer to sing their special compositions, which we lack now by the new composers. Who can sing like this other than Mukeshji? I had to do some homework to sing this beautifull melody, still i feel I expect a pasmark only. But that is more and more enough to me. I am much satisfied. This is my first song of Mukeshji uploaded here. As he is a special singer i am much afried to sing his song without much homework. Will try to sing more dard bhare Geet of him.

Hi Dr Sridhar. Read your direction to use little more reverb. But I feel if we use more reverb and delay to the oldies it will not be suited to the original as those were recorded in analogue system not like the presant digital. I feel like that.Thank you for your directions. I shall try next time when mixing and if feel good i shall use it.
