Rewind 10 years. 1999. A little known singer, by the name of KK, releases an album by the name ‘Pal’. Music videos start airing on Channel V and MTV. The young crowd gets pulled towards the voice and his songs. Fast forward 10 years. Today. KK is one of the biggest names to reckon with in the Indian Music scene and his voice, touching the right places in our hearts.
This song – Yaaron – from KK’s debut album Pal , was also a part of the OST of the Nagesh Kukunoor 1999 movie Rockford .
A very melodious song with equally beautiful lyrics, this song talks about how, in Life, both Friendship as well as Love are so important and that they should co-exist.
I always believed, and still do, that someone who I fall in Love with will have to be a very good friend of mine first; but, I guess, the kind of friendship we are talking here, are the ones where its only friendship – and yes, that too, is necessary, at any stage in Life.
This song goes out to all my friends, who, over the years, have been there by my side and have made a great contribution in making me what I am today; to all my fellow Muziboo-mates, with whom I have been able to share and relish my passion for music; and to someone, without whom, Life wasn’t the same earlier, and won’t be ever, either.

Bodhi – You sound very nice in this. Do you straight away record on the first take itself ? This is the second song where am noiticing a slight off when you start the song. Will be good to warm up your voice before you hit the red button, if you arent already doing so. You have caught on fine after that though there were a couple of mild offs in the antaras.Otherwise, a wonderful rendition.
