Good job man. Echo the points above…. great voice, pretty good mix, compression definitely required, timing issue at certain points. I liked your initial falsettos, but the ooooo part after “yeh zindagi” could have been better.

Very good effort on a difficult song. All improvement areas are covered upstairs, you have a very nice voice ……let me add one more thing ….the feeling of despair didnt really come out consistently well, ….some places …e.g raste kahan …….the voice throw ….changes the mood of the song:-)Nevertheless this is a great effort bro….

Great effort… Here is what I think…

Singing:
- Nice and clear voice
- Keeping up with the rhythm seemed like an issue in the song… You missed it a couple of times…

Recording:
- Looks like you used stereo split on the vocal track and delay too…
- Vocals sounded panned off left towards the end, but the track quality was good…

All in all a good effort… Keep up the good work… Cheers… \m/

How in the world did I miss this before? Well I fell in love this song after I heard George’s version. (you should check it out if u haven’t)

Veery verry well rendered Bodhi, I think the lil issues that have already been mentioned in the comments above are also to do the fact that you do not use proper recording gear (same pinch) Get geared up and you’ll surely sound like a pro :-) 5/5 from me on this one !! :D Simply loved ur energy and expressions :)

Nice singing Bodhi … the mix was kinda busy and your voice was a bit submerged in places. The falsettos were nice and loved the slides that you had there. Your voice is good; got the feeing that you are not using your chest that much … these kind of songs cannot be all sung with just the throat IMO … you need the voice to dig deeper beyond the throat and resonate from inside if you know what I mean. I think you can do it with some attention and practice. That will give a more intimate singing experience for you and for listeners. Also felt that you did not employ softness where it was needed. Just my thoughts but overall good. Cheers.

at 0:20 (gaata hai dil) and 2:22 (raahe bhi hain), ur voice sounds a bit classical….

0:34 (tum ho to) was good, 2:34 (same lyrics) was excellent!!!

0:56 (sapnon….hasee) had a variation in tune…. was it deliberate?

1:00-1:33 was mind-blowing!!

1:33-1:36 high pitch transition cud have been better….

1:41 (zindagi) the line shd have ended on a lower pitch……

1:53 (ooo….) shd have been slightly louder, i think….

2:55 i’m not sure if the lyrics are this way….

but overall, a fantastic composition…. keep belting out more!! :)

(A dream is not something u see when u sleep…. a dream is something that doesn’t let u sleep….)

Nice one Bodhi… a little pitchy at times and tempo issues as well. Falsetto’s could have been better, but guess it’s not easy transitioning as one puts it :) So guess you will get it with time !
