Hi Bodhisattva,
This is one of the close close songs of BA for me. I have always found it tender and delicate – made for “the woman” in each man’s life! Singing was good…. a good cover of BA. Great efforts with the harmonies – Superb,well done! Liked them!

I know its been appreciated all round, But ready for some pointers? :)
Will be honest with you-

1.The start could have been more subtly introduced or better to say – smoothly injected into the ears. Right now it starts a bit confidently.

2. My major pointer is at the “Feel” aspect of it. Good singing, Good expressions too…. but something was missing. And “Feel Factor” is something which is always original to the singer…. The only way to measure it is the “impact” left on the listener’s mind…. right?
I felt few portions could be dealt a bit more tenderly. I guess the singing required was like the lyrics itself “Hold her tight,A little tenderness”. :)

3.As the notes scale up (example – “last for ever….”,“always beee together” – there is a certain modulation that goes with it – if done will add more grace of your fab work.

Bodhisattva…. This rendition is not as bad as my pointers may look-like. :) I am sorry if they sounded disappointing to you or discourage you be even a nanometer. Thats not the idea….right?
All said and done – I sincerely appreciate your hardwork and potential. Its a neat rendition…. and the best cover version I heard till date.

My wife is really a great fan of Bryan Adams and I always ended up singing her Bryan Adams songs in his voice :)

In college I used to have the crowd rocking to his numbers. You reminded me of my yester years. You surely did justice to this song and that too in your own voice which is commendable.

I say that because Bryan Adam numbers are very difficult to sing in ones own voice to match the intensity of his rendition, I have known this as I have performed his renditions many a times. The energy and the intensity go hand in hand in his songs.

Bodhi, this was quite good but you do need to work on the presence and of course on your pitching was off at some places, esp in the start where it is very evident. Sometimes the pitching also can effect the total feel of the song. If every word is spot on, then it does add to the feel. In spite of that an admirable job indeed :)

Not familiar with the original, but you sounded really at home and comfortable singing this song. Expressions and modulations were top notch. I liked the harmonies too – were those your own? Mesmerizing voice Bodhi! Absolutely loved it! High notes – perfectly executed! Feel – was very good, though not intense enough! Or, may be bcoz listeners familiar with BA are so damned used to that unique, trademark ‘feel’ he infuses in his every song, your rendition inadvertently ends up being compared on that basis.
