My rendition of a Mix of two of my most favorite songs in the same tune – ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ from the movie Gangster & ‘Prithibi’ by Mohiner Ghoraguli – one of the oldest & most respected Bengali Bands, which started off in 1976.
The song ‘Prithibi’ has become such a cult number today, that no Bengali Rock show is said to be complete without it. The song has an absolutely mesmerising feel about it.
In 2006, Pritam made a remake of this song in his film Gangster, and the song went on to become one of the greatest chartbusters of all times.
Here, I’ve tried to sing parts of both the songs strung together in the same flow. Though the context of the songs are different, they both convey a sort of ‘pain’, a sort of ‘distraught’.

I am giving here the exact lyrics of what I have sung here…. Obviously, The Hindi portions are from ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ and the Bengali from ‘Prithibi’
