Excellent voice potential for ghazal singing Bodhi. Was very impressed with your rendering … and you should be happy too!. Your voice at the mid to high range in this song were very cultured and soothing … if you only nut out your slightly weaker areas (see below) you will be awesome for ghazals. Hey…I wish you do so, bcos I want to hear many more ghazals from you Bhodhi. I think Jagjit suits you very well and there is a wealth of stuff there for you to delve into!….

Few suggestions:
- try to avoid those short gasps of breath either by evading the mic or by taking them more subtly or by hitting the gym for more fitness! ;-)
- more acute attention to pitch in places like 1:00, 1:43, 1:53, 2:11(landing sustain), 3:00, 3:13(landing again), 3:24(start of humming was a bit tentative), 3:31(ending of humming), 4:02(mohabattka).

You have an awesome sweetspot in your voice especially for this style of singing which you could develop ably!.

Ghazals are beautiful and you sure did win me over with this one!.

Good singing of this lovely ghazal… As mentioned above you have given a personal touch to the number both in harkatein and singing style… Your voice suits ghazals very much. The high note at “KA” in the second(repeat) “Muhabbat ka safar hai” couyld have been more perfect.

Overall good one… Incidentally I too have attempted this Ghazal . Do listen to MY VERSION when you get time and let me what you thought about that…:)

Very nice rendition, soothing to the ears. Harkat aur badiya ho sakti thi….just refer to NVK Sirs cover. I think you did not apply noise gate while mixing.

A very nice rendition Bodhi. A little more stability in the notes and this will sound almost professional. Your voice, I noticed, sounds better in such songs where there is more base and less treble. Record more of such tracks and post them….would love to listen to them!
