Its a really a tough song!!! I have not listened the original plenty of times. You have sang really well. The lines you said are also nice. I like the tone of your voice. But if you wouldn’t mind, just felt two glitches. The first one is the beginning “Chup Ke Se” , wasn’t it a bit abrupt, like stumbling into it? Also in the pallavi the “Par thum tho” was faded compared to other portions. It may an issue with my hearing but felt to let you know. Thanks for sharing :-) Keep singing!!!

thats a rather difficult one Bodhi….kudos to u to have attempted it….liked ur rendition….a little more energy may have added to it…the song has a ring of pain n finality to it…very intense….that seems to be missing at places….however liked ur effort at improvising and moving away from the original….keep them coming…:)

Bodhi – your voice suits the song well. The start was a little shaky and then i thought you caught on better – espec the Alvida lines were good. Like all the rest have commented, fews offs espec at the high notes – barring that a very good attempt.Keep singing.

Very good attempt at such a tough songs. You were really good. Great voice,. Pitching issues were there …but overall it was wonderful.

The diction in the " main aur meri tanhai……." portion could be better specially the word …“Hairan” was sounding inaccurate with the sound of ‘N’ not prominently heard. Very slight issue, though …

Nice song to pick! I really like this one.

U have done a good job overall. Just pay more attention to avoid pitching issues. Also, the “Alvida” lines could use a little more punch, especially in the mukhda. The antaras were much better than the mukhda.

This is one of my recent favorites. You sang the song in tune for the most part, but the punch/pain was missing. Part of the reason is the excessive use of reverb. You have a GREAT voice though. Keep singing and you will nail the finer details slowly but surely!

Just a divine feel of Sacrifice and longing in this song in your wonderful voice.

I will call you by your full name as it means a lot for me. Like your name Lord Buddha/God has surely granted you with a divine voice that can bring happiness and peace to people around the world.

I love your improvisations and the way you recited few lines in the middle of the song, yes truely indeed the message conveyed in the context of the song was totally in sync with the wordings.

This normally happens when your finite soul connects to the infinite consciousness of God while singing and it picks up the same divine thread you are truly seeking for in pain or devotion….Divine intervention do you see and realize my friend….

Today I reiterate the meaning of your name so that you are enlightened on the higher cause you need to trod on with your singing getting above the individual pain to touch the realms of Heaven and lift up others around the world from the frog bottom of life to elevate them to another level where they are in the state of happiness and peace above all the suffering and pain.

You can relate to their pain easily as you have been through it and your voice reflects it and stirs the soul with emotion. Like Ranjit have mentioned that the song recorded by you can get remixed and and reuploaded.
The current recording sounds shrill and echoing in some places.

Firstly, I respect the attempt! It’s definitely not an easy song considering your range and basic texture of your voice. You lived through the song and I could actually feel the pain associated in the song with your voice. Your voice sounds nice though I did find you a bit classical than KK. Really liked the idea of blending “Main aur Meri Tanhayee” from Silsila into this. The mixing was nice but could have done better. Your voice sounds nice and great output overall!! Very impressed with your rendition.
