How to add music to myspace
Myspace allows you to upload your music and they all appear in a playlist. What if you want to add individual songs to your myspace profile or you want to send your song to your friends as a comment?
You can do that easily with Muziboo and I will show you how to do that in a few easy steps
- Create an account on Muziboo if you don’t already have.
- Upload Music to Muziboo
- View your song and click on the myspace button on the embed widget tool. You can also use the myspace comment button if you want.
All you have to now do is to enter the myspace email and password, select the section you want to post this song on and click post. The song will be posted to myspace. Its as simple as that. You can also embed any song on muziboo on wordpress blogs, blogger, livejournal and other sites using this method.
Add music to your orkut profile
Its great fun to share your music with your friends and there is no better place than orkut for that. To help you with that, we will soon be launching an application on orkut that helps you showcase your music and your favorite music from muziboo on orkut. Here is the screenshot of the application on orkut profile
So stay tuned and keep uploading music on Muziboo.
Subscribe to your favorite muziboo artists in iTunes now
We just rolled out a very exciting feature. Now you can subscribe to music from your favorite artists on Muziboo in iTunes. Just look for the itunes image
on the profile page (in stats secion next to song count) or the song page (just below the player) and click on it. You would need iTunes installed on your system. iTunes is a free software available for Mac and Windows and for linux you can use something like rhythmbox. I think the best benefit of itunes subscription is the fact that you can listen to music on your ipod even when you are not connected to the internet!
This addition makes muziboo a great service for podcasters too specially when combined with a pro account for large file uploads (longer podcasts at high bitrate)
So happy listening. Do let us know your feedback on this feature or any other requests you have.
Larger than you and me
Just couldn’t help but wonder after 6 months of launch, what defines Muziboo, who drives the culture and how capable the platform is. The simple answer is, Muziboo is definitely larger than you and me. It is the collective enthusiasm of a few thousand users to help each other and also promote oneself.
Amidst all this, is there anything which is really user enabling? Muziboo believes in giving users their personal space and the best possible flexibility. With this thought, was launched the concept of groups. Create groups of your interest, invite people that you feel fit right, pool music, hold discussions and get notified about all this right on your home page. Cancel out all the other noise.
Want to put up interviews of artists? promote just yourself? collaborate? write articles on music events?…Go ahead, do it all in groups.
The concept might be simple, but definitely very enabling…
Regards,
Nithya
Radio beta live now
Muziboo Radio beta is now live at the radio page. There are currently three channels playing some great original music from Muziboo. Also you can click on the Get this button and post this radio to your blog, social networking profiles (such as orkut, facebook, myspace etc).
The radio currently has a database of about 150 songs and there will be more songs (as well as channels) added over time. Give it a spin and if you like it spread it around.
If you have some original compositions not on muziboo, I feel now is a great time to upload them and get them on the radio.
Barry wonderbrawl
That sure is a weird name for a song title! or so i thought when i casually clicked to listen to wonderbrawl for the very first time, a few hours after the upload. For a second or two it made me wonder if it was the original Wonderwall number…phew, i slowly started crinking the corners of my mouth and half way through the song smiling real wide and by the time it ended I was really laughing out loud!!. Thats “Wonderbrawl”!! and it definitely lives up to its description,”A mad mix of Wonderwall”
Prateek and myself got to know that Barry(Bharat) sings in Bangalore in Opus on its Karaoke nights and this was reason enough for us to make a trip to that place and we insisted he sings Wonderbrawl…I swear he is a good showman and he just doesnt sing it, he PERFORMS it. Guys, if you ever have a chance dont miss it ![]()
