Indian Idol - Love it or hate it?

A couple of weeks back, we had a very interesting discussion on Muziboo about Indian Idol, the music talent show. Basically we asked our members what they like or hate about Indian Idol. There were quite a few interesting and detailed responses that are worth checking out.

  • A few excerpts
  • SMS voting does not make sense
  • There are no shows for composers
  • Singers can’t really learn from these shows and improve
  • Long and tiring audition process where people are selected more for their presentation than singing
