Bands Page at Muziboo.com
I have to admit .. Band’s page at Muziboo are a neat idea but there are lots of flaws with them. Biggest of which is the basic assumption that one user can be part of only. Turns out that is not true .. lots of users are part of more than one band .. their college band and ex school band for example ..
Another problem with the bands page is the (or was) invitation flow. Once you create a band, you were taken to a screen where you could invite your band members to join the band (muziboo users or non-muziboo users). The problem was that many people invited their fans/people whom they would want to check out the band using this page. Now if you put the problem one and two together .. its a big disaster … lots of muziboo members who had bands, were invited (to preview) bands by their friends .. but they ended up joining that band and getting kicked out of their band … now that sucks … and we know that 
Good news is .. this weekend bands are getting a total lift .. you will see a better much more interactive page .. it will be easier to add music to your band .. and lots of other cool stuff .. if you have any more suggestions, please let me know so that I can try to add those to the feature set …

Latest Comments are back too!
Something that I (and I am sure many more users) were badly missing was a way to browse all comments made in the last day or so. That was one of the cool things in the old design. Not anymore .. the last comments section is back on the music tab .. check out the screenshot below
The ability to follow the comments made in your groups right from your home page (once you login) still remains and I think that totally rocks, because that way I can see all that I care for (my groups) in one go. I will talk more about this in another blog post. Till then happy comments browsing … again
Favorites player is back!
In the excitement of launching the design, we had forgotten to include the favorites player in the “my account page” (actually home page now) and that was the first thing that most people found missing .. well its back now and I am sure it will make everyone happy!
