Bands Page at Muziboo.com

I have to admit .. Band’s page at Muziboo are a neat idea but there are lots of flaws with them. Biggest of which is the basic assumption that one user can be part of only. Turns out that is not true .. lots of users are part of more than one band .. their college band and ex school band for example ..

Another problem with the bands page is the (or was) invitation flow. Once you create a band, you were taken to a screen where you could invite your band members to join the band (muziboo users or non-muziboo users). The problem was that many people invited their fans/people whom they would want to check out the band using this page. Now if you put the problem one and two together .. its a big disaster … lots of muziboo members who had bands, were invited (to preview) bands by their friends .. but they ended up joining that band and getting kicked out of their band … now that sucks … and we know that :)

Good news is .. this weekend bands are getting a total lift .. you will see a better much more interactive page .. it will be easier to add music to your band .. and lots of other cool stuff .. if you have any more suggestions, please let me know so that I can try to add those to the feature set …
