Lyrics & Chords
This is my original composition and also my first upload in the muziboo! This song is very very different from my other compositions. But wanted to upload this first for sentimental reasons….!
I have composed this song to depict a mother’s feeling when her child is inside the womb. About what a mother will convey to her child…. About the sweet lullaby a mother sings for her child….This is a gloomy feeling song, about the happiness and fear in a mothers heart, conveyed in the form of lullaby….! Hope you like it……
I would like to thank Srividya Kasturi for giving this song a “life”. If you can understand Tamil you can appreciate her distinct expressions for different words….Particularly, I love that second “maganae….”!
I don’t want to put on a language constraint on this song – music has no boundaries! I would love to see, if someone can write the lyrics for this song in English….

This is a beautiful piece bro. I loved the flute and the strings in particular. Great job! I can think of a number of vocalists here who would be a good fit and do justice to this composition…Hopefully they will step up and volunteer :)

Hi divine Balamurali,
A very divine composition to portray one of the most divine relationship of a mother with the child, when the child is in the womb.
Lord Krishna said once that there is nothing more sacred than the relationship of a mother and child and is the highest in terms of all relationships.
This is the time when a mother is literal God to the child and the child shapes up based on the intimate feeling and love for the child.
This is the time when the child enjoys the state where most of the souls enjoy once they are enlightened and one step further they are ONE with God.
This is the stage when every intent and thought of the mother’s soul in silence also is clearly felt and perceived by the child’s spirit soul to be moulded into a being in the same infimite consciousness of a mother.
I am very very happy that you are composing music from this perspective which is most DIVINE.
Our Lord has already blessed you for that.
Now as far as singing this in a womans voice is concerned, I would suggest to you that you have
5 VERSIONS of this song in 5 different divine voices as every mother will put their soul in a reflection of their own in this song for their child already existing (already a mother), to be (expecting/angel in the womb) or in visualization state (if unmarried/married having no child).
Then if you are planning to release it in an album you can decide out of the 5 versions which of the mother’s soul manifests the exact soul embodiment of your emotions and feelings desired for her child in this song.
Infinity/5 for you.
It has touched my heart and soul and goes into my favorites.
I can give you names that I know of
IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER who are exceptional and DIVINE South Indian singers that I have heard on Muziboo:
1. Srividya (has already commented above)
2. Tara (who has commented above and is sitting with her child in the snap if you observe)
3. Rashmi Di
4. Meera Manohar
5. Smitha Passanha
6. Jane Mathew
7. Ramya Harish
8. Meena
9. Sudha Kumar (I just heard her and she has commented above)
NOTE: NEHA (Can’t sing Tamil) otherwise she would have been in the list too.
When you do compositions for HINDI songs keep her in mind too.
I am sure that this is the most DIVINE song in the making.
Take Care divine soul,
Keep the faith always,
Peace be with you,
God Bless You and all your beloved souls…

George – Thanks for the immediate lightning feedback! As you can see, I have got a couple of female singers interested in this. All of them have extraordinary talents – now, this a tough job for me to choose one!!
Srividhya, Sudha & Tara – All three of you are great singers – No doubt about it. Since Srividhya was the first to approach me with her interest, I would like to give this opportunity to her.
Ranjit – You have given new dimensions to this composition. I would like to settle on for the “to be mother” version. Indeed, it was a great divine feeling to compose this.
Ramya – Thanks for your comments. Glad you enjoyed it!

Hey Subbu, thanks for the comments! I wanted his song to be as simple as possible without any distractions. So played the stings in a very low octave to get the bass feel (instead of adding a base track). I hope you like the voice version which I am gonna upload soon…

Great brother.
I loved the composition. A very nice tune with wonderful simplicity. Took me back to those Ilayaraaja – S.Janaki days where the tune was king.
You should also try a synthesizer version with richer instruments, although I don’t mean to say that this is any less interesting. Great work. Keep it up.

Song arrangement flows very well…i wish I could understand the words…
Few suggestions:
instead of directly starting with vocal can you think of 10 sec instrumental/humming for the starting? add more reverb to strings and chorus they sound dry…ending humming is very very nice but it would be even sweet if you take off the percussion and slowly fade the humming…just my thoughts…it is good as it is now…

I so enjoyed this! Thank you! Just beautiful! As I can’t understand language, I am so glad you included who this song was for and what it was about ~ my being a mother myself ~ I was able to envision myself singing this to my child and was very touched ~ even touched by thoughts of Strividya singing to a child in her arms ~ just lovely! My little Jesse who is 5, just loves lullablies, he still to this day ask me almost every night to sing him a lullaby. He would love this! I sure hope you do find someone who can translate in English soon! Would love to share this work with him from my heart!
Blessings to you ~ Laura C

Hey Bala! :)
I am really sorry for coming to your space this late! :)
I lovvvvvedddddd the song!! Just really touching! Wonderful composition bro!
Just to give you a few of my thoughts on this song… I felt you could have added more prominent piano chords which run throughout the song, giving it a more bass effect… Would definitely have brought out the beauty of the song…
Apologies for the comment if I am wrong… It is just my view…. I am more a singer than somebody who plays any instrument… So based on the limited knowledge I have, I felt tht… :)
If you hear the song, you can make out that the dholak & drums (please correct me if i am wrong) sounds very prominent in this song… Instead you could have given more prominence to some bass chords which I feel would definitely bring the beauty of the song out! :) Without it now, the song sounds as it is not completely filling…
If you have time please check out and work on it a lil more if possible… I am sure it will sound AWESOME once you add some more music to the background!! :)
Once again I apologize if I have mentioned anythg offensive… It is just my view I am sharing, as this song is really beautiful in terms of the composition & I would love to hear this song with all its beauty!! Hence said all this…
I just loved it!! :)
All the very best!
