Great piece …… loved it. The usage of strings between 0.15 – 0.29 reminds me of those excellent BGMs of Raaja.

Somehow the way i was able to visualize the whole situation was a guy who is mad about this girl is on his way to propose to her and then realizes the girl is in love with somebody else & then the girl introduces her boyfriend to him and this guy is sad & tries to hide his sadness doing a half laugh.

There is a heaviness about the tune and a lot of mystery :)

This is very good as it is. But with a small extension, you can make it a bit more flexible base for you to play with…

Your progression is Am|F|C|E||
(with that last note of the bar hanging on D giving the chord a brilliant E7th touch…)

But you could easily make this from a single bar recurrence to a two bar recurring theme with:
Am|F|C|Dm ….
Am|F|C|E7th ||
(Essentially such a theme would correspond to two bars of your current form)

The beauty with this elongated base is, it gives abundance continuity and space to break free/ play around (with G7th and Em as well for instance)… Because honestly when I heard the first 3 bars, my natural intuition was to expect an continued ascent…Instead I was greeted with the regulation descent of E major finish… so this is in fact an involuntary suggestion…

And BTW, the unusual touch of finishing the piece at Ni3 really elevated the grip…

hey balu I am sure you experienced tragic then……? there is a small mitake of instrument selection here…… that violin should not be so obviously present balu it killed the melodic feel with its too much attack. may be instead of stacato stringing try legato stringing.
