NEW ARTIST “BAKYAWD” CLAIMS TO BE KING OF A NEW EMERGING GENRE “HIPROCK” BAKYAWD The King of Hiprock is a new and exciting breath of fresh air to the music industry. Atlanta, GA (March 2, 2008) BAKYAWD the King of Hiprock debuted his style at Atlanta’s Legendary Poole Palace wher he performed his new hit single” Do My Thang! " BAKYAWD, not only a rapper but a peformer, mesmerized the crowd as he played the guitar, rapped and exhibited his trademark dance “The Hiprocker”. BAKYAWD, born Jamal J. Jeffries, is a native of Atlanta and has been developing this style for over a decade. Being rejected by many local clubs for his eclectic style, BAKYAWD never gave up and kept making music and improving his skills. BAKYAWD always felt that the combination of hip-hop and rock was the sound of the future. Many artist today include a rock overture in their music like Lil John, Kanye West, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Outkast and a new group Shop Boyz with the hit single “Party Like A Rock Star”, which was now nominated for a Grammy. BAKYAWD is the Chuck Berry of our time, an evolving and elevating sound for music. BAKYAWD is not a novice to the music industry and started recording music in 1998. BAKYAWD was also an engineer intern for Radio One Atlanta where he learned business fundamentals. There he witnessed Chris Luva Luva transform into Ludacris. This motivated BAKYAWD that with determination and grind he could architect his very own path to success. BAKYAWD found Lozt Citey Inc., his publishing company, in 2003 the same year he recorded a skit on the LUDACRIS album Chicken & Beer. Hence, the Hiprock experience has been in full effect, from new artists becoming involved to new producers.
