thank you LK and Hasib! :) I wish I could do more justice to the song. The karaoke track has a faster tempo than the original song (you will realise once you closely observe). Hence, could not retain 100% magic of the song. But I’m glad y’all liked it. :)

Very good selection…. Your voice has a wonderful base…. Has a flavour of its own…. As Tara ji suggested about high notes…. I agree to that…. a lil more perfection on that n you will do wonders…. Well faster tempos can be always slowed down to match the Original…. Also keep an eye to Murkis….they need some polishing aswell…. But I loved your voice…. Keep it up…. 5/5 from me specially on your voice…. :)

Arati ….have heard umpteen covers of this song. You are really an expressive singing, i.e you really connect with the song. Loved your nashila rendition for the feel, there were a few pitchy spots….I am sure you are aware of that too. Perfection is something we all are working on, so please join the bandwagon:-)

Hey thanks a ton Harshan! :) Yes….there were places where I had difficulties delivering the right pitch. :( Other than that I wanted to give precise expressions on parts like “tere bina”. Even the word “Mulaqaatey” could have been sung with more feelings….anyways, I’ll try harder next time…. :)

Hi Arati, firstly, i love ur name:) Also ur voice is very nice, suiting the song. This is one of my fav songs, especially the Tamil one “Vaseegra”…Overall ur rendition was good but the impact factor/connection in the song was missing at some places (due to the high notes). But rest of it was good. Keep singing and improving urself day in day out.
Listen to Tara’s version of the song and u will learn a lot from hers.

but the only thing i found is … scale dropping.
in the intro…
its my feeling :) i keep on playing music and arrange songs of my compositions in free time, so i found a small variation in scale. u can tune it using Melodyne . its a bit detuned …

Arati… this is one song in recent times, which sounds as easy as much as tough it actually it is…. and you executed it with so much of flair… you got that ‘haunting’ feel in your voice here which Jayashree had put in…. sounds so so good… a bit of work in the higher parts… thats all that is required… apart from that, i seriously have not heard anyone sing this song so well….!!

I am a newbie here and just listening to multiple versions of Zara Zara, my favorite song, today. First, I extremely liked the description given by you about this song. It just reflects my heart about this number.
What I, as a fan of music and this evergreen song, felt about your voice and rendition is:
-You really have a very good voice.
-You a little artificially rendered that “nasheela pan” in your song. Thought that was not needed, as this song’s tune and your voice both originally have that magic.
-Mukhdaa was very good. Thought you got to work on high notes a little more.
Overall, rendition was very good. Keep singing. Keep entertaining.

Hi Aniruddha……it’s extremely nice of you to take the time out for my song….thanks for the fb! agree with the high notes….i could feel the strain when i was singing … & as far as the ‘nasheela pan’ pointer goes….it’s really difficult to ‘artificially’ render that ‘sama’! tried….but not my best….surely next time …. :)
