It’s been more than a month since I shared my songs. Realized the shortcomings in my previous version of “Aap Jaisa Koi”. Hope you like this one. :)
Aap Jaisa Koi – a very popular and upbeat retro number sung by Pakistani pop singer Nazia Hasan and music composed by Biddu, broke conventional Bollywood music trends and gave a tangy twist to Bollywood pop. Starting at the tender age of 15, Nazia ruled the roost as a sensational pop diva in the 80s and 90s with her svelte and extremely stylish voice. All good things come to an end….and so did the life of Nazia Hasan – the “Queen of Pop”. A humble tribute to this legend….

Wonderfully sung, Arati. Heard this song after a huge gap. You reminded me of Nazia Hassan. If you increase vocal volume just a bit – to baat ban jaaye :-)

today the world is riding on glamour….back then, nazia hassan dazzled in simple salwaar suits she wore in music videos or concerts….her music n voice will live forever! :)
