Feels good to be back to Muziboo with a song after so long. :) Here comes the cover version of one of the chart-busters from 2000 – Ivan Yaaro(Minnale). Recorded this after getting repeated reminders from Raj. The pitch and the tempo as in the k-track was too high for both of us. I request you all to bear with me for the short-comings in my recording and am extremely happy to welcome you all back to my space. Thanks.

Welcome back! Excellent singing, Lavanya! You handled “Nenje nenje” line extremely well. A little more feel in your rendition would have made this a stunner. Antha smile missing maari thonithu!
But I expected more from Raj to be honest! First of all, his voice sounded very different in this song 9perhaps due to the high pitch). Track was a bummer! Most sangathis were very good but some were superfluous and the last “sollividu” was a little disappointing.
But hey, glad to see you back! :)

Lavanya – very sweet voice. Higher registers at 2:17 was awesome… but ‘sirikinraan’ la mattum dan sirichirukeenga :) ‘enna idu’ sounded different than original, lil sad may be.
Raj – listening to you attempt a high pitch song for the first time. Liked all those sangathis esp. 1:58 – pookal, 3:47 – paavi, last ‘sollividu’ portions first two were damn good. Strain was pretty evident in higher registers of both charanams… missing your trademark subtlety

I agree with Adithi, revathi,Deepesh about the negatives in my singing. Raj already pointed that out before. But atleast to kick start my dying space, i thought this would be a good cover.
But i must also say the tempo was too fast that even any little feel i had given got nullified!

Raj and Lavanya: Haven’t heard this song. Lovely voices. A high pitch song and I think you both wanted to stick to this pitch.
Raj: Most of the song (comfortable pitch sections) sounded good. In those very high pitch portions, your usual comfortable singing was missing and some pitchy portions, rare in your singing. Felt that you would be able to do this better with a slightly reduced pitch. I hope you will take in the right sense.
Lavanya, I have heard you before and like your voice. Nenje nenje was cute. I think this would sound very good with a slightly reduced pitch.
Track could also be better.

Listened to this song yesterday night as my brother Raj invited me to your space and one more time this morning. It seems you’ve been hibernating quite a while from Muziboo and back with a banging performance !!
Lavanya —> In high registers, shades of Harini was felt and handled extremely well “Nenje Nenje” and “Yeno Yeno” portions are superb !! Keep giving us the joy of listening to your voice with more covers.
Raj —> Thambi, As usual kalakkal with your soft voice. “SANGATHI MANNAN” appadinnu oru pattam kodukkalamnu irukken. Yetru kollungal !
“Oru murai sollivudu” asathal. 2nd charanam “Yugam thorum Kaathu kidanthena…” vil konjam strain therinthathu. 1st charanam was OK.
Niraigal → 95% and Kuraigal → 5%
Vaazhthukkal iruvarukkum !!
