This is my humble attempt on the song “Tharam Valkannadi nokki” from the movie “keli”. The song had been composed by Bharathan (The director of the movie) and beautifully rendered by Chithra and the lyricist is ‘Kaithapram’. It is based On the Ragam ‘Hindolam’. This song is very close to my heart……… and the movie ofcourse. Please let me know your feed back.
The original song starts with a humming, since the karoake track did not support it, i did not record that portion….so you might feel some emptiness in the beginning.

Lovely rendition Anju. Not an easy song to sing but you have done a very good job with the note transitions and modulations. The higher registers could be stabilized a bit I felt but that is only matter of bit more practicing before recording. Keep singing and sharing.

Anju. Very nice selection of this song expecially composed by Bharathan. He alwayes love the raga Hindolam and composed this song also in Hindolam. Anju has sung it so melodiously and with the real feel. keep on singing.Like to hear more songs from you.

This is such a brilliant composition… Always loved the feel this song carried with it… Transports the listener to a different world… Especially the heavenly rendition by Chitra chechi!
You have done a great job! Loved the feel you have given… Only thing I felt which will need some working would be the high notes in the anupallavi… Charanam was better at the same place… Felt you could have opened up a lil more in the anupallavi… This is just a nitpick though… Nevertheless a great cover and the ending was really nice…
