Best Software – logic pro /pro tools.
I also like fl studio a lot.
Vst : a whole lot of bunch.depends how deep your pocket is:-)
I like Ominisphere,trillion and styluz RMX from spectrasonics alot.
Besides Nexus,Gration personal orchestra,East west stuff….all are very good.

The best… quite relative term.
For me, FL Studio is best.
In VSTs, there are LOT that would come in BEST category of mine. Eg., Voxengo’s plugins, mda plugins, FL defaults…
You can even create your own vst plugins using SynthEdit or FL’s new vst creation tool.
